Incentive structures
Two-sided or double-sided referral programs reward both the existing customer and the new referred customer — they’re a great way to drive more shares! The reward can be the same for both parties or different.
- 20% discount for both the member (referrer) and the new customer (referral)
- $20 gift card for the member (referrer) and a 15% discount for the new customer (referral)
Milestone and tiered rewards encourage customers to keep sharing to get even better rewards.

Bump rewards are similar to milestones except the larger reward is typically on the first referral, like an introductory offer. It encourages the customer to share early and often.
